Henderson County TAC backs N C 191 widening plan

Advisory board picks future road work priorities. The Henderson County Transportation Advisory Committee endorsed widening N C 191 from N C 280 to Long Shoals Road to multiple lanes with bicycle lanes at an estimated 39.8 million dollars. The vote also approved two other projects, though turnout at TAC meetings remains light and residents increasingly attend to protest highway priorities.
