Disarray grips Henderson County Republican Party as Chair Brett Callaway and two deputies oust over 35 precinct chairs from the executive committee during a March 23 convention through a chaotic April 15 meeting. Kathy Maney of Hoopers Creek is led out after a police captain removal, and Maney has charged Callaway with assault for grabbing her phone amid the dispute.
