County Grants UNC Greater Control Over Pardee Hospital
Henderson County Commissioners unanimously approved a revised memorandum of understanding that expands Pardee Hospital governance and adds four board seats. UNC Health Care System and the Pardee Board will appoint more members, with the board growing from 12 to 15 and ex officio voting roles for key leaders, in a bid to strengthen long term viability amid rising patient activity and financial growth.
