AVL breaks passenger record at Asheville Regional Airport
AVL served a record 392,713 boarding and 394,324 deplaning passengers in 2015, a 4 percent rise from 2014, with Allegiant expanding to a hub status and adding a fifth nonstop to Palm Beach. Major carriers American, Delta and United maintain frequent daily schedules, while Allegiant plans Baltimore/Washington service from May 2016.
