Summer concert series moves to South Main Street
Rhythm & Brews, the popular concert and craft beer event, moves from the Azalea parking lot on King Street to two blocks on South Main Street to accommodate growth. Downtown Coordinator Lew Holloway cites space limits and aims to reduce parking demand with a larger, organized area for beer trucks and vendors. Years of adjustments led to the relocation, with stage setup days planned near Caswell Street and a May 19 start, followed by June 16, July 21, August 18, and September 15.
