Henderson County Keeps Tax Rate While Boosting School Budget
The Henderson County Board of Commissioners approved a $204.5 million no new taxes budget, increasing the school appropriation while maintaining the rainy day fund. County tax rate stays at 43.1 cents. a $400,000 home would pay $1,700, compared with Buncombe and Haywood counties. Buncombe and Hendersonville raised rates in FY25.
