London jailed no bond Russell held on 500000 bond.

Polk teacher convicted of indecent liberties with student
A 51 year old Polk County High School business teacher, John Brian Taylor of Landrum SC, was found guilty of indecent liberties with a student. He received a suspended six to 17 month prison term plus 10 days in jail and must undergo a substance abuse assessment. He forfeited his teaching license and is restricted from contact with the victim. The incident occurred at Polk County High School in November 2022 and involved luring the student to the classroom, locking the door, and pulling her into his body as he admitted wanting to kiss her. The jury deliberated less than three hours before verdict.
