Tenants drop claims at Alpine Woods as repairs promised
Seven Alpine Woods Resort tenants drop claims in Henderson County Small Claims Court after the landlord commits to repair water and sewer lines roads and install permits with licensed contractors. Rent will be reduced and past due amounts forgiven until repairs are completed. The settlement comes amid ongoing efforts by Pisgah Legal Services and other groups to address the lack of affordable housing for low income residents.
