Henderson County tourism board awards 25670 in grants

The Henderson County Tourism Development Authority approved 25670 in grants for advertising efforts by local groups. Recipients include Apple Country Engine and Tractor Show, Art League of Henderson County, Arts Council of Henderson County, Curb Market, Fletcher Parks and Rec, Hendersonville Antique Car Club, Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra and others. Total requested reached 41020 with all funds earmarked for promotional use. The next authority meeting is set for 1 p.m. July 23.
