Henderson County approves 117 million dollar budget plan
Henderson County Commissioners adopt a 117 million dollar budget for the new fiscal year. The plan fully funds the School Board at 23 million and Flat Rock Playhouse at 50 thousand, with emphasis on a 75 thousand square foot health sciences building shared by Wingate University, BRCC and Pardee Hospital. The board also increases Heritage Museum funding by 10 thousand and discusses debt for the Pardee Wingate project. The pay raise uncertainty from Raleigh is noted.
