Green Home Tour showcases sustainable builds in Henderson and Buncombe
The Environmental and Conservation Organization hosts its sixth annual Green Home Tour on Saturday Aug 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The self guided driving tour highlights net zero homes hemp and lime walls reclaimed wood and a Biz611 incubator demonstration in downtown Hendersonville. Tickets go on sale after Aug 1 at ecownc.org and ECO offices with supports from Biz611 GreenBy3 and Habitat for Humanity among others.

The Hendersonville Lions Club will hold an annual golf tournament at Crooked Creek Golf Course starting at noon on August 17.
