Flat Rock dedicates half mile sidewalk along West Blue Ridge Road

Flat Rock Village opened a 2,500 foot brick sidewalk from Mill House Lodge to the Wrinkled Egg, linking Bonclarken and Robert E. Lee Drive to the village center. The project, costing 308000 dollars, includes drainage work and aims to reduce traffic by encouraging walking. Ed Lastein and Don Farr note the benefit of safer access and easier heart-of-town reach for residents.
