Fletcher marks the dedication of Lawn Hall a 25 000 square foot town hall built at a cost of 9 7 million The three story building houses the police department administration council chambers and a community meeting room The project faced PCB related delays funding hurdles and a 5 cent tax increase but ultimately opened as a centerpiece for Heart of Fletcher development with USDA and SunTrust backing financing
