Parks grants miss Henderson County and Mills River projects
Henderson County and the town of Mills River failed to secure funding in the state Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant round. The PARTF Authority received 64 local requests totaling 17.6 million and recommended 17 projects contingent on legislative approval and local matching ability.
