Stags Head Brewing plans to open on Seventh by year end
Special to the Lightning reports Stags Head Brewing Co plans a late year opening at 340 Seventh Avenue East near Under ground Bakery in the Historic Seventh Avenue District. Owner Jonathan Ayers expects a 7,500 square foot building with 4,500 square feet brewery and a 8,000 square foot outdoor beer garden backing onto MLK Boulevard. He aims to bottle and can within a year and run 18 taps with six flagship beers and 12 rotating brews including gluten free and nitro options. Ayers sits near Southern Appalachian Brewery and hopes a third or fourth brewery nearby will help all.
