Public meeting July 18 on Kanuga Road improvements
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will host a public meeting July 18 in Hendersonville to discuss Kanuga Road upgrades from Little River Road to Church Street. Planned changes include widening lanes to 11 feet, adding a four foot paved shoulder for bicycles, center turn lanes, turn lanes at Erkwood Drive State Street, and five foot sidewalks with curb and gutter north of Erkwood Drive. Written comments are welcome through July 28.
