Flat Rock builds new park and pavilion plans progress
Flat Rock advances a master plan for a 66 acre park with a $4.7 million cost over six years. A Park and Recreation Commission was created to guide renovations, establish rules for a pavilion, playground and welcome center, and oversee equipment, landscaping, and operation policy. The project includes trails, boardwalks, a nature center, a destination playground, a treehouse phase, and funding from the Flat Rock Park Foundation.
