Tragic carbon monoxide deaths at Flat Rock home

Henderson County deputies found Anthony Marino and Patricia Marino, ages 47 and 51, dead from carbon monoxide in their Flat Rock home on Jan 2. Investigators believe an older running car in the garage caused the poisoning. pets also died. Cause of death confirmed by medical examiner. intent undetermined.

Woman Dies In Self Set Fire In Etowah Trailer

Etowah woman Terry Waldrop died Friday night in a trailer fire she allegedly started herself. Firefighters found her inside the single wide at 48 Cornflower Drive and she died at Pardee Hospital from carbon monoxide and smoke inhalation. Investigators, including the sheriff's office and SBI, say the fire began in two separate areas of the home.
