Superintendent bids farewell amid Sandburg historic park efforts
The superintendent announced pride in conserving Carl Sandburg's main house and conservatory repairs and a new ventilation system. He praised the park team, and expressed excitement to join Harpers Ferry National Historical Park staff to tell over 1000 years of regional history including military significance John Brown and Storer College. A farewell event is planned Friday February 24 RSVP at 828-693-4178.
