Quilting ties a world of Mills River together
Lucy Pace, a 96 year old Mills River neighbor, crafts and gifts unique quilts as folk art. Her work links a diverse network including grandson Tony Ingle in New Zealand, Susheela Punitha in India, and visitors from Clemson to Chile. The column celebrates community ties formed through quilts and shared roots.
