Flat Rock park plans advance with trust fund idea
Flat Rock residents backed a proposed park during a recent forum and online survey though officials warned the survey was not scientific. Traffic crime and tax costs are concerns while an entrance redesign is urged to avoid a “death trap.” A park trust fund could raise 300000 in three years and 600000 in eight. A state Parks and Recreation grant application is to be prepared by Rebekah Robinson ahead of January 31.
