Obituary for Terry Allen Hicks 1936 2017 Flat Rock NC
Terry Allen Hicks 81 died November 10 2017 at home in Flat Rock NC after declining health. Born October 16 1936 in Arp Texas to Ruby Violet Brown and William Preston Hicks he was survived by his wife Christine Pearson Hicks four daughters grandchildren great grandchildren and six step grandchildren. He was a missionary at heart a bookseller and founder of BookLink who served as mayor and councilman of Flat Rock and helped develop the Park at Flat Rock. A celebration of life was set for December 9 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hendersonville with donations requested to UUFH Flat Rock Park Foundation or the Scholarship for Single Moms at the Children and Family Resource Center.
