Four Seasons Politics on Board Elects Hawkins Chair
Henderson County commissioners unanimously elected Grady Hawkins as chair and welcomed Rebecca McCall to the board the first woman since 2002. Bill Lapsley was chosen as vice chair after three new members were sworn in. Thompson, retiring after 40 years, received a large portrait of the Historic Courthouse as Hawkins credited Edney and Lapsley for service.
