Grand jury indicts Stroupe for murder in Henderson case
Henderson County grand jury indicted Phillip Michael Stroupe II for first degree murder in the death of Thomas Bryson, 68, of Mills River on July 26. He faces robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and First Degree Kidnapping. his father, Phillip Sr., is charged as an accessory after the fact. Both men set for Superior Court on Oct. 9.
