Mama Mia at Flat Rock Playhouse Gates News of Big Box Office
On opening night of Mama Mia at Flat Rock Playhouse, patrons filled the house and box office reports exceeded expectations. Bill McKibbin hosted on the Lowndes house porch, reflecting the theater’s recovery from debt and past struggles with support, debt, and leadership, aided by strong donations and community backing. Magic parking for showgoers became part of the familiar theater lore as audiences enjoyed the production’s success amid a climate of renewed local engagement and administration.
