Court rulings may force bond payment over Seven Falls defaults
In Synovus Bank v County of Henderson and Lexon Insurance, the North Carolina Court of Appeals upheld a trial win by Henderson County demanding Lexon pay the $6 million bond backing Seven Falls LLC improvements. Lexon argued permit-extension law. the court said private contract unaffected. Further review possible.
