Hendersonville council to study 1.6 mile Oklawaha Greenway segment
The Hendersonville City Council will consider awarding a 1.6 mile paved segment of the Oklawaha Greenway from North Main Street to Berkeley Park with landscaping signage racks and stations. Trace and Co. of Mountain Home submitted the sole bid of 1.17 million dollars. The project aims to start in October and finish by next summer with an 80 percent NCDOT grant and a 20 percent local match.
