Wind sculpture honors James Volk pediatric pioneer
A wind sculpture dedicated to Dr. James Volk honors 41 years of pediatric care in Hendersonville. The ceremony drew 45 attendees including physicians, business leaders, and mayor Barbara Volk who proclaimed "James Volk, MD, Day." Volk helped establish a pediatric ICU at Pardee Hospital and expanded Hendersonville Pediatrics into the region’s largest children's practice.
