Walsh Oas Omits Will Win In Helena Visit

United States Senator T. J. Walsh and his daughter Mrs Emmet C Gudger plus two grandchildren arrived in Helena from the East and stayed with Mrs C B Nolan at 112 East Lawrence. He said he would remain in Helena about a week then return to Lake McDonald in Glacier Park and would stay in state after the November election. He expects to attend the Democratic National Convention in Houston and noted a Smith nomination seems likely. He discussed possible Democratic party planks after a talk with Senator Key Pittman prior to leaving.

Gallatin murder case goes to jurors in Bozeman

In Bozeman on June 2, the jury began deliberations in the joint murder trial of Stanford S. Shipley and Marco Johnson for the death of Lou Watwood. Watwood was shot near Willow Creek on May 19. Swallows Teeth at 80 and Dies in Minnesota

Man Held After Shot At Man From Casper

Casper June 21 Frank Dannigan of Feansville was arrested on a charge of firing on Warry Proctor of Casper. The shot wounded Proctor and left him with a minor injury. Authorities say Dannigan fired after returning from a ride with Mel Danian about 12 20 am. Police found Dannigan's car with bullet holes in the rear. Bail was set for his appearance Monday.
