Atlanta dispatch reports about 275 black patients at Grady Hospital evacuated after an explosion and fire in the X-ray room. The blast is linked to safety fears and a failed glaziery attempt. medical staff, photographers, and others suffered injuries and shock, with hospital staff overnight in care.
Afigsowla June 20. Former dean N. Wuttlock of the University of Montadd law School argued for permission of adger Io camiment upon evidence on crimin mat cases. Walter L. Pope and D. They stumbled into an isolated ranger cabin and telephoned Nevin McCulloch who was 12 miles away. He started through the timber to bring food to them.
In La Paz on June 20 rebels lost the Vilidzan border town to government troops who recaptured it. A communist named Lasga and Hinojowan's lieutenant were captured. loyalists freed prisoners and seized the customs house with about 100000 bolivianos in cargo.
Denver June 20 AP Beet and sugar cane will be classified as commodities on the Federal Farm Board program alongside wheat cotton tobacco and rice said Samuel R McKelvie former Nebraska governor and Farm Board member at a conference with beet growers from five states Colorado Wyoming Nebraska Montana and Idaho in attendance The board will study production costs and marketing cooperation to reduce competition between cane and beet sugar industries and will recommend actions to the board The proposed permanent sugar and beet coordination committee may meet again in early July with appointees from several states and industry groups to advance the beet and cane sugar interests
In Butte on June 20 a woman known as Betty Stone eluded sheriffs after stealing $700 from a man in Great Falls. she reportedly used an airplane to flee toward Salt Lake City on a train after authorities traced the southbound route. Officers reached Butte as the plane departed and later found the woman on a train siding. she vanished before reaching her destination.

The Interstate Commerce Commission authorized joint construction of about 200 miles of new trackage by the Western Pacific and Great Northern systems into northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. The plan calls for Western Pacific to spend about 10.66 million dollars and Great Northern about 3.57 million, with total project costs around 24 million, expanding routes through Oregon toward California and linking Northwest lines to affect Northwest and Southwest rail connections.
