Billings Realtor Kills Self After Ill Health
Parley G. Carling a 53 year old real estate and hotel man in Billings Montana shot himself on a Montana Avenue sidewalk. He had just bought a revolver at a pawn shop and likely died instantly from a self inflicted wound to the mouth. His death followed a paralytic stroke and he had planned to seek treatment in Minnesota. He had arrived in Billings in 1896 from Findlay Ohio and accumulated wealth.

Couple's newborn sparks tragedy as man ends life in cabin
