Arthur Griffin visits Bishopville, Emery Nunley and Otis Banks stay in Rosebud a week. Tom Lloyd of Bishopville spent Sunday with relatives here. Ed Luke of Hearne visited the Suggs home Sunday. J R Barlett went to Dallas to buy a Ford. L C Smith and daughter Eddie of Henry Prairie visited H P Hill and family Monday.
Rev H J Hayes delivered a strong sermon on What Do We See In the Face of Jesus. At 8 pm Rev G W Davis preached Let Us Not Be Weary In Welldoing. Music pleased both services. The fourth quarterly conference followed, showing the year’s work in excellent condition.
Gatling & Gatling, a popular firm, have received a new Kissel touring car and hold the agency for this county and three others. The 52 horsepower vehicle is praised for its design and finish and is regarded as one of the market’s most popular cars.
Mr C C Crutchfield and Miss Bertie Buckland were married Saturday at 2 PM in Burnet at the Baptist church home of Bro Joiner. Crutchfield, a popular Hearne youth, wed Buckland, daughter of W L Buckland. They left for Hearne for their future home amid well wishes from friends.
