The Marlin District of the Woman s Missionary Society of the Methodist Church met in Hearne on Monday and Tuesday June fifth and sixth with delegates from five plus counties. Mrs Trigg of Cameron opened, welcome by Mrs F W C Karney, music by local girls, and remarks by Mrs J Coy Williams Caldwell. Delegates reported, discussions covered mission study and youth work, and renewed zeal filled the sessions led by Mrs W O Trigg with Mrs Magpie Aycod eron as secretary.
