Hearne School Board Ponders Addition Of High School Wing
The Hearne School Board met for two hours and agreed to continue evaluating the cost and feasibility of adding three classrooms and a science lab to the high school. The plan would connect to the cafeteria area and add about 4,600 square feet with completion likely at the start of fall 1977. If built, ninth graders would attend the high school. The Board of Equalization urged a full property reevaluation district wide. The board accepted five teachers’ resignations and reviewed next year’s student handbooks.
