Avery Falkner Passes Away
John Avery Falkner 61 of Franklin died suddenly Saturday afternoon. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Franklin Church of Christ, Minister Mike Beaumon officiating. He was taken to Fort Worth for final rites Monday at 2 p.m. in the Lake Worth Church of Christ, burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survived by son J. A. Falkner of Big Spring. daughters Mrs. Melvin Wise of Chattanooga and Mrs. D. T. Garza of El Paso. seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. two brothers Lee and Willard Falkner. one sister Mrs. Ethel McBride. He lived in Fort Worth 43 years, retired as a bookkeeper, and returned to Franklin.
