Agricultural notes on grasshopper poison demonstrations
Arrangements to poison grasshoppers on three Hearne to Mumford farms begin April 27. Farms will be selected by Commissioner Hill and the Hearne Chamber of Commerce with county-wide demonstrations organized. farmers desiring dates should apply to the County Agent. Demonstrations to cover five miles apart, owner informed of requirements, work starts if crops are damaged. participants should arrange white arsenic, wheat bran, cheap syrup, lemons, and a meat grinder or food chopper for preparation.
