Eagle Rank to Be Conferred on Scout Dan Lawson
Dan Lawson of the San Lorenzo Boy Scout troop will be awarded the Eagle rank in the court of honor to be held next Thursday night in the local court. He will pass the final tests to attain the Eagle Scout rank amid a ceremony with Hans Henningsen presiding. A large turnout attended the San Leandro court, with about 60 members present. Centerville will hold its court Tuesday night under George Coit. Plans proceed for the Father and Son dinner hosted by the Scout Leaders Association of Southern Alameda County at Burbank school on March 31 at 7 p.m.

Girl Vagrants Fined at Trial in Early Morning
Judge Jacob Harder Jr. was called from bed at 2:30 AM to hear three Livermore girls charged with vagrancy. Lena Rossi paid 50 dollars, while Babe O Neill and Babe Burns each paid 25 dollars. They were arrested in a house along the road between Livermore and the Veterans hospital. Rossi noted her birthday falls on Monday and St Patrick's Day. The case moved to Hayward after officers failed to secure a Livermore court appearance late at night.
