Parley on Water District Plans in Hayward Firmed

Hayward Chamber of Commerce and local leaders will discuss best methods to obtain water from San Francisco and Hetch Hetchy. A seven member committee will coordinate formation of a possible district from San Leandro to the Santa Clara county line, with Barry Bartell and I B Parsons pushing for early action.

Kingsleys Return from Los Angeles Flower Show Plan Oakland Exhibit

Mr and Mrs W H Kingsley return to Mount Eden gladiolus farm after a Los Angeles flower show trip. They will meet the Chamber of Commerce next Tuesday and plan entries for the East Bay show in Oakland on July 18 and 19. They toured Anaheim Los Angeles and San Diego meeting fellow gladiolus enthusiasts. Mr Kingsley notes strong real estate cooperation in LA and highlights his own 500 gladiolus varieties and new imports from AGS and New Zealand. The Kingsleys will visit further flower shows this season as the Hit Valley club studies home affairs.
