Rotary Club of Chicago Intertop convention party highlights
Gladys Ruus of Oursen sang in twinsful numbers at the convention entertaining Rotarians and guests. Bernie OBrien sang and a San Francisco vaudeville duo performed an Apache dance. Past president’s degree was conferred with a dramatic ceremony. A prank wheelbarrow ride, a knee-lying pledge, and a dramatic blindfolded audience moment followed. Sterling Doughty conducted a ham raffle and a Berkshire pig delivery. N R Moore received a gift while proclaiming illness, and dancing continued past midnight amid floral salt and pepper sets and Holly bouquet decorations.
