Family quarrel blamed for death by own action
Manuel B. Janqueiro, 34, of 271 Pearce street, a farm hand at W. Z. Smith’s San Lorenzo ranch, hanged himself in a barn early Monday after separating from his wife Mary Borge Junqueiro of Tracy. His body was found by fellow worker William Butter near a 40 o'clock hour. Deputy Coroner Walter Flier and Chief Louis Silva investigated. funeral arrangements are by Pratt Mortuary.

Moura spent two nights in city jail after being charged by his son with beating his wife and threatening to kill her. Moura claimed his wife struck first. judge Jacob Harder Jr granted Moura time to prepare for a hearing next Monday. A 15 year old girl was sent to the county detention home for school truancy. her father faces state law charges and trial next Monday.

Inquest Set Over Ong Deaths In Berkeley
An inquest will be held in Oakland into the deaths of Rev. and Mrs. O B Ong of Berkeley after injuries from a car crash earlier Thursday night. The Rev. Transbay plane dives after hitting sand barge in Oakland estuary
An amphibian plane departing from the Air Ferries terminal bound for San Francisco struck a sand barge in the Oakland estuary and nosedived into the water.
