Five Injured in Weekend Auto Crashes On Dublin Road
Five persons were injured in separate Sunday automobile crashes in the Dublin canyon area known as jinx highway. J D Ramsey and wife were side swiped and pushed off the road. Ramsey broke his left ankle and Mrs Ramsey broke her right arm. Dr Paul Ruckwitz suffered scalp wounds when his car was struck and the driver sped away. Auto thieves busy here in Hayward area
Hayward area reports half a dozen cars stolen in the past week. Victims include Gus Marshall, Meredith Parker, W F Puner, and Jacinto Andrade. A roadster on Grace street was found towed to Moon garage. Two local boys, ages 10 and 12, were charged with stealing Guy Elston’s car and were to appear before Judge Harder with possible juvenile home placement.
