Trustees Meet Board Hears License Posting Incomplete
The Board of Trustees met last evening with Willy Proident Heyer presiding and all members present. Chairman Powell reported that work on establishing a license for posting was not quite complete and was granted further time. The contract and bond of J.P. Lawrence for sprinkling the streets were accepted. Various claims including De Guerre J V Merle water company Meyer Pimentel Mariemte Ramage Obarminister J Obarminister water company Meyer Lawrence Nissen Lawrence Light Co H W Klee Webb Peare were discussed and paid. After thorough discussion of the expert's report the meeting adjourned.

Wild bull attack in San Lorenzo wounds man and savages wife
A bull charged Charlie Rota as he tended his herd in San Lorenzo. The animal tossed him high and trampled him. Mrs. Rota fought the beast by seizing its horns to save her husband, suffering facial injuries in the struggle. Rota lay severely injured.
