Money Stolen From Doctor in Green Shutter Hotel Break-In

Legion Endorses School Bonds and War Memorial Plan

Navy records show Marine ace Cooper, 28, scheduled for discharge today after 26 months of service with two Pacific theaters. The pilot’s postwar plans were not disclosed as of press time.
E. K. Strobridge Dies at 76 Former Senator
Edward I. Strobridge aged 76 long-time Alameda County public servant died at home in Hayward after 27 years as county official. Former state senator and asset weight sealer, he served 12 years in legislature with two Assembly terms and rest in Senate. Survived by widow Edna, three sons, one daughter, sister Emma May Landres, six grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services pending.
