Tragic auto crash ends life of Vernon Dorr in Dublin Canyon
A moonlit joy ride on Dublin Canyon Road near Santa Rosa ended when Vernon F. Dorr, 29, an Oakland Fischer Body employee, was crushed after his car locked bumpers with another. He died at Hayward Central Hospital from skull fractures and injuries. Four involved, including John Benigno and two women, Irene Markowitz and Blanche Brown.
