The Bakersfield Califo ria newspaper announced that editor Wiaméed A. C. will resign his post and assume new duties January 1. Kreiserig, a newspaperman, will manage the better business division and serve as assistant manager in the Light Chamber. Prior to 1036 he was a statistician for Time in Los Angeles.

Manuel P. Rose of Hayward died December 25 1944 aged 56. He was husband of Emily FP Ronis father of Edward and Le Roy Rose and the late Melvin F. Rose. He was the brother of Mrs Mary Enos Mrs Avinena Lima and Mrs Helen Enns and a Knights of Columbus member. Funeral from Sorensen Bros Chapel Hayward January 2 1944 at 9 am then to All Saints Church for high mass at 9 30 am. Rosary recitation Wednesday at 8 pm. Interment in Hols Supulehey Cemetery.
