Man’s Leg Broken In Auto Accident In Niles

Hayward fire chief announced his department will provide fire protection to Castro Valley as the local crew remounts its chemical truck. Father Lally Dies First Pastor of All Saints
The Rev. Father John A. Lally 65 longtime Catholic priest and first permanent pastor of All Saints Hayward died at Providence hospital Oakland from a heart attack after years of illness. He served 1898 to 1905 overseeing the building of the mission hall, later replaced by the current church. Funeral services set for Friday at St Mary’s cathedral San Francisco with burial at Calvary cemetery San Jose.
