Services Set For Robert Louis Dunn
Funeral services for Robert Louis Dunn nine year old drowning victim are scheduled for Thursday at the Santos funeral home in San Leandro. He was the son of Louis and Mrs Dunn of 17188 Ehle street Hayward and is survived by one sister age 11. The drowning happened while the youth waded in the river near Weatherby lake Monday morning and his body was recovered by Deputy Coroner Andrew Masten during search for Frank Johnson a prominent Oakland sportsman who drowned while attempting to recover the boy. Mrs Dunn said her son drowned while his father fished in the river and she briefly left the shore to fetch a blanket. Dunn worked as a machinist at Friden Calncpating Magis company in San Leandro.
