Local Militia to Undergo Federal Inspection This Saturday
Capt C O Raine of the local National Guard unit says Lieut Col Bucker of St Louis and Col Mabrey of Cape Girardeau will visit to conduct the Federal inspection. The men have not yet been paid for their drilling but will receive pay after this visit. They are awaiting equipment and uniforms in the next week or so amid efforts to prepare for the Missouri Centennial at Sedalia Aug 8-20.
