Fall Grass Seeding Principles and Local Visitors

Native and introduced grasses should be planted in early spring or fall for best results. Fall seedings face less weed competition, but land prep and seeding method largely determine success. Seedbeds must be firm with shallow to inch depths. avoid loose soil. Light surface disturbance can aid light coverage. Seeding options include rows or broadcast with suitable planters. Local visitors include Mrs Fred Nabors and Mrs B Brown with sons Pinkey and Shelby of Kerrville, and Mr and Mrs Oliver Hopf of Austin visiting at the Whitewood ranch.
