Benevolent Association Adjusts Fire Loss

Sunday evening a small fire caused minor damage at the home of Mrs. Rudolf Itz. Directors moved on Monday to replace damaged items. The local benevolent association relies on member donations, with a 20 cent per $100 assessment covering expenses and adding to a reserve fund. A second donation notice was mailed. about 80 members are urged to respond. Also notes on processing young tender smoked turkeys by overnight soaking prior to slow baking.
